To do so, we provided investments for resources and expertise to advance the knowledge base of the market, thereby creating the Global Stevia Institute (GSI). The Institute, supported by PureCircle, is a resource designed to promote accurate and consistent education about the natural, no-calorie sweetener, stevia.

There is a great deal of stevia information publicly available and PureCircle’s goal is to ensure that health professionals, food and beverage manufacturers, public policymakers, media and consumers have access to consistent and credible science-based information about stevia. The GSI provides guidance and leadership through stevia education and is a complement to other industry educational initiatives.
