PureCircle has a progressive sustainability and a community support policy. Excess plant material from production is recycled for internal fuel and fertilizer use. The company’s stevia is produced by small, local farmers in the rural fields of Thailand, Indonesia, China, Paraguay and Kenya.
PureCircle works with Amigos De Las Americas, an international, volunteer based, charitable organization that provides leadership and community service opportunities for teenagers and young adults while concurrently contributing to the well being of hundreds of communities throughout the Americas. In 2009, more than 700 amigos volunteers and project staff served in 7 Latin American countries, working alongside local youth, host communities and partner agencies.
