PureCircle is building the stevia leaf market in supply to make high purity stevia truly a global mass volume commodity sweetener. We lead the industry on all key measures of leaf supply – volume purchased, controlled supply hectares, quality improvements, geographical diversification and expansion, next generation research and management organization.

Precision in production of high purity stevia products starts with the breeding of stevia seedlings. Through our own education programs, stevia farmers are taught to propagate high-yielding stevia plants. We are actively working with stevia farmers in sixteen countries across four continents to cater to the increased global demand for high purity stevia extracts.

PureCircle has made significant investments in Paraguay and Kenya to further diversify the global supply of stevia. We are now commercializing extract with leaf supply from both Kenya and Paraguay, in addition to China. In 2010, we entered into a partnership with S&W Seed Company to bring large stevia cultivation to the United States.

PureCircle owns and manages state-of-the-art facilities for the extraction and refining of stevia – which makes PureCircle the industry leader in both actual production and capacity of stevia products. Our extraction complex has a capacity of 4,000 metric tons per year while our refining facility can produce 2,000 tons of high purity stevia annually. In fact, PureCircle is the only stevia sweetener producer that has the capacity of producing at scale – allowing us to keep up with global customer demand.
